No Simple Salvation

Have you ever heard anyone say something like this, “Becoming a Christian is easy; being a Christian – living the Christian life – is the tough part”? For anyone practicing the faith that God has instilled in them, the second part of this statement has been proven true on more than one occasion. However, I would like to take issue with the first part of the statement.

The Kingdom of God

In an earlier article, I wrote, “…if we are wrong in our understanding of the theology of God, then all of our other doctrines are equally as wrong. The knowledge of God is fundamental and foundational to all other beliefs.” I believe the same thing is true of our understanding of the kingdom of God and how Jesus fits into God’s plan for that kingdom.
